All dog owners interested in learning more about ‘How to Lobby’, in defence of their rights and those of dogs, are invited to a special educational seminar on the subject, taking place on 7th September at the Kennel Club in London.
The aim of the seminar is to encourage more local level parliamentary lobbying, to give a greater voice to dog owners across the country, through KC Dog and its members.
There will be a presentation from Holly Lee and Laura Vallance, from the public affairs department at the Kennel Club and organisers of KC Dog, on how to lobby effectively, giving useful tips and pointers.
There will be a second presentation on the Dog Control Order Case Study – Camden Borough Council, with presentations from local resident Gail Levy, Camden Senior Policy Officer Richard Bradbury and Camden Councillor Mike Green.
There are limited places left, so seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Registration will be from 10am, and the seminar will begin at 10.30am, followed by lunch and a tour of the Kennel Club Library and Gallery.
For more information and to reserve a place at the seminar and/or to join KC Dog please contact Laura Vallance by telephone on 020 7518 1020 or email laura.vallance@thekennelclub.org.uk
